Claude exam vouchers in India: what exists today

Anthropic does not sell Claude exam vouchers today, in India or anywhere else, and Pearson VUE sells none for Anthropic's exams. Anthropic's certification FAQ says its voucher store “is in progress”. You pay Anthropic's fee by credit card inside Anthropic Partner Academy, and registration accepts only an email from a Claude Partner Network organization.

Last verified: 10 October 2026 against Anthropic's certification FAQ and Pearson VUE's Anthropic page.

Claude exam vouchers: what exists today (card payment in Anthropic Partner Academy, fees from $99 to $175, tier discounts) and what does not (a voucher store, Pearson vouchers, rupee prices)

That one fact changes how to read every “Claude voucher” offer. Below: what each exam costs in dollars and rupees, who can register, the employer route that can be free in 2026, a table of real and risky offers, and a seven-point check to run before you pay anyone, us included. I checked every fee and rule against Anthropic's and Pearson's own pages on 10 October 2026.

The short answer: how to get a Claude exam without a voucher

Anthropic's FAQ answers the voucher question in its pricing section. Asked whether teams can buy in bulk, it says “Not yet”. A voucher store is in progress, and the FAQ describes it as a place where partners buy vouchers for their own organization. Nothing there points to a shop for individuals.

Pearson VUE delivers the exams, but it does not sell Anthropic vouchers either. Its voucher purchase page lists exam programs such as Amazon Web Services, Cisco and CompTIA, and Anthropic is not among them on 10 October 2026. Pearson's own Anthropic page sends candidates back to Anthropic Partner Academy to register.

So the real flow has three steps. You sign in to Anthropic Partner Academy with a partner email. You pay by card on the certification's page. Then you get an email with a link to Pearson, where you book a slot online or at a test center. If someone sells you a “voucher”, ask which of these three steps it replaces.

What each Claude exam costs, in dollars and rupees

Anthropic publishes four fees, all in US dollars and before any partner discount. The rupee column is my conversion, not Anthropic's price.

Exam Code Anthropic's fee About, in rupees
Claude Certified Associate Foundations CCAO-F $99 ₹9,600
Claude Certified Developer Foundations CCDV-F $125 ₹12,100
Claude Certified Architect Foundations CCAR-F $125 ₹12,100
Claude Certified Architect Professional CCAR-P $175 ₹16,900

The rupee figures use about ₹96.7 to the dollar. That is the cross rate from the European Central Bank's reference rates of 9 October 2026. I round the results to the nearest ₹100. Anthropic quotes no rupee or regional price. Your statement will show your card issuer's exchange rate plus any foreign currency fee it charges.

Tax is the open question. Anthropic's certification terms say the buyer is responsible for any taxes that apply to the payment. The FAQ does not say whether tax is added at checkout for an Indian card, so look at the total before you confirm the payment.

One fee has already moved. Architect Foundations rose from $99 to $125 on 30 June 2026, so a page that still quotes $99 for it is out of date. For retakes, renewal and a first-year budget, see what a retake or a lapsed renewal adds to the bill.

Who can sit the exam today

Money is the smaller hurdle. The FAQ sets three conditions, and you cannot buy any of them.

  • A partner organization. Certification is available to people at Claude Partner Network organizations. A company that only uses Claude as a customer does not qualify.
  • An email on that organization's recognized domain. In the FAQ's words, “personal email addresses will not work”. A Gmail or Outlook address fails at sign-in.
  • Age 18 or over, checked against a government-issued ID on exam day, online or at a test center.

Anthropic's FAQ says the exam and prep content are available in English and Japanese. The exams are closed book, and browser translation is not allowed during the exam. If you have never sat a proctored exam online, read how my own sitting went, step by step.

Before you pay, make sure you are paying for the right exam. Associate, Developer and the two Architect levels test different work, so start with the kind of role each of the four exams is built for.

NO PARTNER EMPLOYER?

Anthropic admits to its exams only people from Claude Partner Network organizations. Join our collective of AI consultants and sit all four exams through our partner organization.

The cheapest legitimate route: your employer

If your employer is in the Claude Partner Network, you may pay less, or nothing. The discount follows the firm's tier, not you, and Partner Academy applies it automatically at checkout.

Your employer's tier Discount at checkout Architect Foundations costs
Registered none $125
Select or Preferred 50% $62.50
Global Premier 100% until 31 December 2026, then 50% $0 in 2026

If you work at Infosys, TCS or Cognizant, look at the bottom row. Anthropic's partner directory lists Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services and Cognizant as Global Premier on 10 October 2026. In July, in a list of firms committing to certify their people, Anthropic wrote that Infosys and TCS had each committed to 10,000, and that Cognizant would certify 10,000 developers and engineers. If you work at one of them and your email domain is linked to its partner record, the fee at checkout is $0 until the end of 2026. Your employer can still set its own rules on who registers: Anthropic's terms make each partner responsible for who gets access.

Those numbers come from a longer list of partner pledges. I go through the full list of firm commitments and what it says about demand for certified people separately.

TCS has a second connection to certification. When Anthropic announced the partnership on 12 June 2026, it said that TCS iON “will deliver Claude training and certification”. The announcement gives no dates, prices or sign-up route for individuals. Until TCS publishes such details, be careful with any offer that leans on that sentence.

Joining the network costs a firm nothing if it brings Claude to market, so it is a fair question to raise at work. Ask your manager four things:

  1. 1. Is our company in the Claude Partner Network, and at which tier?
  2. 2. Is my email domain on the company's partner record? Adding one through partner-support@anthropic.com takes 7 to 10 days.
  3. 3. Who approves exam registrations, and does the company pay the fee?
  4. 4. Which exam does the company need? Associate does not count toward the firm's tier. The other three do.

How to tell a real offer from a risky one

The left column is what Anthropic and Pearson publish. The right column is what to question when an offer contradicts it.

What is real (checked 10 Oct 2026) What to avoid or question
Fees of $99 (Associate), $125 (Developer Foundations), $125 (Architect Foundations) and $175 (Architect Professional), in US dollars. A “list price” above these figures for the same exams.
You pay Anthropic by card in Anthropic Partner Academy, then book with Pearson VUE. Paying a third party by UPI, bank transfer or a chat link “for the voucher”.
Anthropic sells no vouchers yet. Its FAQ answers the bulk purchase question with “Not yet”. “Genuine” or “bulk” Claude vouchers.
Partner discounts of 50%, or 100% for Global Premier until 31 December 2026, applied at checkout from your employer's tier. Discount or promo codes for Claude exams.
Fees published only in US dollars. A regional price that is confirmed only in a chat message.
A published format. Architect Foundations: 60 items, 120 minutes, a scaled score of 720 on a scale of 100 to 1,000 to pass, valid for 12 months. A seller who says the format, price or validity is not published.
Anthropic issues the certification as a Credly badge after a proctored Pearson VUE exam. A course certificate presented as Claude certification.
Refund requests go to certifications-support@anthropic.com, and a registration stays valid for five years. A rule that every payment is final, including the part meant for the exam.
Anthropic's partner directory shows each tiered partner publicly. A claimed partner status you cannot find in the directory or get confirmed in writing.
Free preparation: Claude Academy courses and the exam guides. “Real exam questions”, dumps or a promise that you will pass.

No single item on the right proves fraud. Each one is a reason to slow down and ask for the answer in writing.

Your 7-point checklist before paying anyone

SEVEN QUESTIONS, ANSWERED IN WRITING

  1. 1. Whose domain will you register under? It must be a Claude Partner Network organization, and the address must be yours. Personal addresses do not work.
  2. 2. What is the exam fee, and what is everything else? Compare the quote with $99, $125, $125 and $175. Ask for the exam fee and any training fee as separate lines.
  3. 3. Who pays Anthropic, and from which account? In Anthropic's own flow, the candidate pays by card in Anthropic Partner Academy.
  4. 4. Which tier is the organization at? Check it in Anthropic's partner directory. The directory filters by Select, Preferred and Global Premier, so a Registered member may not appear at all. Ask for its tier in writing.
  5. 5. What happens if you cannot register, fail or cancel? Compare the answer with Anthropic's rules: refund requests through certifications-support@anthropic.com, changes at least 48 hours before the appointment.
  6. 6. Will you keep your logins to yourself? Anthropic's terms say your credentials are for your use only. Never hand over a Partner Academy or Pearson login, and never accept “real exam questions”.
  7. 7. Is the exam the one you think it is? Confirm the name and code (CCAO-F, CCDV-F, CCAR-F or CCAR-P) on Pearson VUE's Anthropic page.

Put the same seven questions to us. They are fair questions for any organization that offers a route to the exam, and the answers should come before any payment.

No partner employer? Your options

Ask your employer to join. Membership of the Claude Partner Network is free, and any organization that brings Claude to market can apply. A new firm starts at the Registered tier and commits to at least 10 certified practitioners. At that tier its people pay the full exam fee.

Go through a partner organization. Our Certified AI Consultant Program is one such route. Members sit Anthropic's exams through our partner organization, which is at the Registered tier, so there is no exam discount. Applying is free. If we accept you, you pay $60 upfront for each two-month period, and you pay Anthropic's exam fee yourself, by card in Partner Academy. Anthropic is not a party to the program, and we do not promise that you will pass. Read the admission criteria and what membership includes.

Before paying us, read the program terms. They cover what membership includes, cancellation and refunds, and what happens if you fail an exam.

Wait. Anthropic has not announced a date for opening certification to the public. If no client or employer needs the credential soon, prepare now and settle access later. A separate guide compares every route to the exam when your employer is not a partner, and what each one asks of you.

Free ways to prepare while you wait

Anthropic's own prep courses sit in Partner Academy, behind the same partner sign-in. Everything below needs no voucher, no partner email and no money.

  • Claude Academy. Free courses, tutorials and use cases from Anthropic's education team.
  • The exam guides. Public PDFs for all four exams, with the domains, the task statements and sample questions. The FAQ calls the guide the authoritative source for exam scope.
  • Practice exams. Anthropic retired its own practice exam when delivery moved to Pearson on 30 June 2026. The sample questions in each guide are what is left.

To fill that gap, this site has four free practice exams, one for each certification, full length and with no sign-up. A mock score does not predict your Anthropic result, but it shows which domains need work.

For Architect Foundations, the guide becomes a study plan once you add an exercise for each of the five Architect Foundations domains. Do those before you pay for an attempt.

Frequently asked questions

Can you buy a Claude certification voucher from Anthropic?

Not today. Asked about bulk purchase, Anthropic's FAQ answers “Not yet” and says a voucher store for partner organizations is in progress. Each candidate pays by card in Anthropic Partner Academy.

Can I buy a Claude exam voucher from a training institute in India?

Anthropic's FAQ and terms describe no voucher resale, and Pearson VUE's voucher purchase page does not list Anthropic. If an institute offers one, ask in writing whose partner account and email domain you will register under, and who pays Anthropic.

How much is a Claude exam in rupees?

Anthropic quotes fees only in US dollars: $99, $125, $125 and $175. At the European Central Bank cross rate of 9 October 2026, about ₹96.7 to the dollar, that is roughly ₹9,600, ₹12,100, ₹12,100 and ₹16,900, before your card issuer's rate and fees.

Is GST added to the Claude exam fee?

Anthropic's certification terms make the buyer responsible for any taxes on the payment. The FAQ does not say whether tax is added at checkout for an Indian card, so look at the total before you confirm.

Can I take a Claude exam without a partner company?

Not with a personal email. Anthropic's FAQ says certification is available to people at Claude Partner Network organizations, and registration needs an address on such an organization's recognized domain.

My employer is a Claude partner. Do I pay for the exam?

It depends on the firm's tier. Registered partners pay the full fee. Select and Preferred partners get 50% off. Global Premier partners get 100% off until 31 December 2026 and 50% after that. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.

Is Claude certification free?

The courses on Claude Academy are free, and so is renewal on time. The exam itself is free only for people at Global Premier partners, until 31 December 2026. A “free Claude exam” on a course site is a practice test, not the Anthropic exam.

Is a course certificate the same as Claude certification?

No. Finishing a course shows that you completed it. Claude certification is earned only by passing a proctored Pearson VUE exam, and Anthropic issues it as a Credly badge.

Can I get a refund or move my exam date?

You can cancel or reschedule through Pearson VUE up to 48 hours before the appointment. Later changes and no-shows forfeit the fee. The exam guides still say 24 hours, so plan on 48. Cancelling in Pearson does not refund you: email certifications-support@anthropic.com. A registration stays valid for five years.

What happens if I fail a Claude exam?

A retake costs as much as your first attempt, with your partner discount if you have one. You wait 14 days after a first fail, 30 after a second and 90 after a third, with at most four attempts per exam in a rolling 12 months.

Are “real exam questions” or dumps safe to use?

No. Anthropic's exam policy forbids using leaked exam questions or answers. If Anthropic finds misconduct, it can invalidate your results, revoke the certification and bar you from future exams, and it has no obligation to refund your fees.

Does the certification stay with me if I change employers?

Yes. The certification belongs to you, and Anthropic recommends adding a personal email to your Credly profile. The terms also let Anthropic revoke a certification if the partner you certified through is no longer in good standing with the program or with Anthropic.

Independent guide, not endorsed by Anthropic. Fees and rules are as checked on 10 October 2026 against Anthropic's certification FAQ, its certification terms and exam policy, the Architect Foundations exam guide and Pearson VUE's Anthropic page. Check the FAQ again before you pay. Claude and the certification names belong to Anthropic.
