1. Parties and definitions
- Provider — Szymon Paluch, trading as Beta Impact Szymon Paluch, ul. Piękna 25, 32-091 Raciborowice, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 5492440717, REGON 361035480, email contact@szymonpaluch.com, phone +48 500 012 445.
- Member — a person accepted into the program who has paid for membership.
- Program — membership in the Certified AI Consultant Program described on the program page.
- Billing period — two months of membership, paid upfront.
- Consumer — a natural person entering into the contract for purposes not directly related to their business or profession. Consumer rules also apply to a sole trader where the contract is not professional in nature for them (Art. 38a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).
2. What membership includes
The exam fee is not part of membership. The Member pays it separately, at the certifying vendor's prices. Certificates are awarded by the vendor (e.g. Anthropic, PBC), which is not a party to this contract. The Provider does not guarantee passing an exam or being offered a project. Taking part in a project requires a separate agreement.
If a certifying vendor changes the rules for exam access through partner organisations, the Provider will tell Members promptly. A Member may then cancel with immediate effect and receive a refund for the unused part of the billing period.
- Access, through the Provider's partner organisation, to certification exams available only through AI vendors' partner organisations — today, four Anthropic exams.
- Study materials: a cheat sheet of answer patterns and additional question sets.
- Live sessions with consultants and access to a shared Discord server.
- The chance to be offered a place on client projects when the Member's profile fits the engagement.
3. Application, acceptance and conclusion of the contract
Applying through the form on the program page is free and creates no obligation to buy. The Provider reviews applications individually and may decline one without giving a reason.
Once accepted, the applicant receives an individual Stripe payment link by email. The contract is concluded when the first payment succeeds. The Member receives access instructions by email within 2 business days of payment.
4. Price, VAT and payments
The membership price is the price per two-month billing period shown on the program page at the time of payment, charged upfront at the start of each period. Where the acceptance included the offer for practice-exam subscribers, the offer price shown there is the total for the first billing period. Later periods are billed at the standard price.
Prices are net of VAT. Stripe calculates VAT from the billing address: 23% VAT is added in Poland; no VAT is added for businesses in another EU country that provide a valid EU VAT number (reverse charge); no VAT is added outside the European Union; consumers in other EU countries are charged 23% Polish VAT. The final amount, including any tax, is shown on the payment page before you confirm.
Payments are processed by Stripe. You provide card and other payment details directly to Stripe. See the privacy policy for details.
5. Subscription and automatic renewal
Membership is a subscription that renews automatically every two months. The fee for each new period is charged to the same payment method at the start of that period, until you cancel.
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If a period remains unpaid, the Provider may suspend access and then end the subscription. Nothing is owed for a period that was not paid.
The Provider will announce any change to the standard price by email at least 30 days before the period it applies to. A Member who does not agree may cancel before that period starts.
6. Cancellation
A Member may cancel at any time by writing to contact@szymonpaluch.com from the address used for payment. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period: access stays active until then and no further fee is charged. The Provider confirms cancellation by email.
No partial refund is given for a billing period that has started, except under the right of withdrawal (section 7) and the other cases set out in these terms.
7. Consumer right of withdrawal
A consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of its conclusion. It is enough to send a statement to contact@szymonpaluch.com before that period ends, e.g.: “I withdraw from the Certified AI Consultant Program membership contract concluded on […]. Name, email address used for payment.”
Membership starts immediately after payment. By accepting these terms at payment, the consumer expressly requests that performance begin before the withdrawal period ends. On withdrawal, they therefore pay only for membership up to the moment of withdrawal, pro rata to the price of the billing period. The Provider refunds the rest within 14 days, using the same payment method.
8. Termination by the Provider
The Provider may end a membership by notifying the Member by email if the Member seriously breaches these terms, in particular by sharing program materials with third parties, breaching a certifying vendor's exam rules or harassing other members. The Provider may also end the program with 30 days' notice.
In each of these cases the Provider refunds the fee for the unused part of the billing period, and the subscription does not renew.
9. Rules of use
- Program materials are for the Member's personal use only. They may not be published, resold or shared with third parties.
- Members follow the certifying vendor's exam rules, including the ban on disclosing exam questions.
- Mutual respect applies in sessions and on Discord. Information about clients and projects you learn in the program stays confidential.
10. Complaints
Send complaints about the program or a payment to contact@szymonpaluch.com. Include the email used for payment, a description of the problem and the outcome you are requesting. The Provider replies within 14 days.
Consumers in Poland may seek help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the regional Trade Inspection office. Consumers elsewhere may contact their national consumer body. Using these routes is voluntary.
11. Liability
The Provider is liable for proper performance of the contract under general rules. Towards Members who are not consumers, the Provider's liability is limited to the fees paid for the last two billing periods, except for damage caused intentionally. This limitation does not apply to consumers.
12. Final provisions
Personal data is processed in line with the privacy policy.
The Provider will notify Members of any change to these terms by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. The change applies from the next billing period. A Member who does not accept it may cancel before that period starts.
The contract is governed by Polish law. A consumer from another country keeps the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of habitual residence. These terms are available in Polish and English, and both versions have the same content.
